Job Title: Credit Risk Analyst
Work Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
Hours per Week: 40
Job Duties: Responsible for performing quantitative/qualitative
analysis of financial and credit risk issues to guide real estate investment decisions. Specific duties include:
- analyzing financial and quantitative business data to
evaluate key economic and industry trends;
- evaluating financial and investment impact of
interest rate fluctuations, tax issues, credit choices made by customers,
and related economic indicators on the company’s overall business
operations;
- assessing financial impact of mortgage financing
products in terms of relative short, medium, and long-term financial and
investment advantages for both company and its customers;
- preparing financial reports to company management;
and
- interpreting financial data, company revenues,
profitability, trends, and other business factors and providing management
with specific investment recommendations.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration; knowledge of marketing and financial accounting; two years of financial
analyst experience, including commercial and residential real estate financing;
knowledge of state and federal mortgage laws; ability to perform financial and
statistical analysis and identify risk factors; and demonstrated proficiency
with Microsoft Excel and Calyx Point Mortgage Loan Origination Software.
